"Sunday Sorbet"

24" by 8" mixed media on canvas
Tall, narrow and very high-key. There is glitter, metal, graphite and acrylic in this painting.
This was a tough one for me to keep light as I tend to get pretty bold with my color. I slapped that cherry in there with some bright red to satisfy that need of mine, hee, hee.

I think I'm hungry for ice cream now, gelato or maybe sorbet!

    love ths one! but it doesn't photograph so well. there's such a richness of texture in the real life one. And a lot of color subtlety that doesn't show. oh, well. Job well done! you guys will just have to take my word for it!
