"One Lone Building"

Decided to do a quick mixed media to have done something rather than nothing. What I really mean is to show something. I have a few started, it's the finishing part I'm working on : ) .
I see more arriving soon...............

"Seaside Green" -Sold

This is my rendering from a magazine photo. I made some changes, better yet, I didn't include all of the hazards to this green. : ) the flagstick is missing for the moment, haven't decided where to put it and what color to do the flag. I'll update later....... jM

This is not easy!

Wow. For some reason I thought a small painting would be easier than painting large. Not true.
This is just not my day, it's Sunday and it seems there are too many distractions around here.
Sounds like a good excuse to me!  jM

It's time to "just do it" -Sold

This painting is a little dark and I could spend too much time on it. I just have to post it. This is why I'm doing a painting a day is to get better. Yes?
We will see what tomorrow brings! jM

4/20/09--I've done some work to this painting and I've titled it "Just a Flower".
This little painting fell off the shelf it was on and got a big chip on the bottom, so I needed to retouch it. It changed a little. : )

Found the painting surface yea!

Finally found the masonite board but the store couldn't cut it down because their saw was broken.
I found another store with a working saw and now I have three large pieces of masonite ready to be cut up! Once I have these pieces I'll only have reason to paint the daily paintings. In the mean time here is the painting #4 in the Blue Moon Series. This is 18" x 14" acrylic on canvas.
