"Four is More" -Sold

about 12"x11" mixed media on paper
This painting I was trying to be a little calm. Calm colors and hopefully a calm feeling, and it is loaded with olives. If that is what those big dots are.  : )

Just before the big snow hit our city yesterday afternoon, I got to paint kitty's with some young enthusiastic artists. We finished just in time to beat the snow and oh we had a wonderful time. See for yourself!
We are hoping for Spring.
Here is Rogue, she followed right along with me, right down to the fish tag on here orange kitty's collar.
Enjoy your day,

"Sunny Lounge Martini" -Sold- Retitled "Santa Fe Martini"

about 10"x10" watermedia & graphite on paper
A cocktail loungey type painting. It's soft and smooth except for the occasional bumps in the road.

Yes, there is a martini in there, use your imagination.  : )

Another tomorrow, I have pretty good internet again.

Oh, I should have posted a green painting, but I don't have a photo just yet. Rain check?

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

"The Stroke of Midnight"

about 11"x5" mixed media on paper
How about this one? A little different for me. It has my collage papers, acrylic "skins", string, ink, oh my! A lot of fun. The black is a piece of archival mat board. Go figure, I would have never thought I'd do something like this. My world continues to expand.  : )

"Asian Dream"

6"x6" (maybe) aqua media on paper
Hello, it's been a while, busy month and, I hate this part, I was sick for a while and it was hard to get motivated to do anything. Yes, who hasn't been ill this winter season?

Good news, I took a workshop last week and learned so much about collage. Yes, collage and no I didn't already know how to do it, so glad  to have taken from Carrie Burns Brown.

This piece, "Asian Dream" is actually an exercise using color families and assembly of the artwork.

I have another piece to post tomorrow, then I may disappear again for a week, but more of that tomorrow.
