Small Urban Landscape

Small Urban Landscape    2"x4"   acrylic on canvas

Couldn't help myself with this one. This town is growing!

Here is a photo to show the size of this painting....
Reference size photo.
There is always "Hope".....

Today marks the last day of 30 paintings in 30 days with Leslie Saeta and I'm just getting warmed up. I haven't done 30 paintings, but I have been painting!

Enjoy your day,

Three "Itty Bitty's"

"Small Landscape"    acrylic on canvas   2"x3"

"Mini Martini"   acrylic on canvas  3"x2"

"Snowman 3"    acrylic on canvas    3"x2"
Reference photo for size of paintings...
Maybe a photo of the brushes I used would help to get a feel for the size of these little paintings, or my big hand....

Well, as far as 30 paintings in September, I've lost track, but at least the paintings are still coming. I have another "Hope Street" on the work table, stay tuned.

Friday Update on Hope Street

"2246 Hope Street" 5"x7" acrylic on paper

"4343 Hope Street" 5"x7" acrylic on paper

"1047 Hope Street" 5"x7" acrylic on paper

"9416 Hope Street" 5"x7" acrylic on paper
Four more paintings for the 30 paintings in thirty days and four more houses on "Hope Street".
Today being the 9th of September and what I thought was 7 paintings finished, I've discovered that I missed a house. Number 3 is no where to be found. I think I missed on my numbering of paintings finished. Thank goodness I'm a nice person because I'm forgiving myself and moving on! Watch out though, I will sneak one in here and call it number "3".

Have a nice weekend!

"6529 Hope Street" ...painting #2

"6529 Hope Street"  5"x7"  acrylic on paper
A tree swing, flowers, maybe that is a kitty in the window....  I'll do another...

Creating 30 paintings in 30 days, I've decided I don't need to exactly do a painting a day, but do thirty paintings in thirty days. That, I can handle, I hope you can too!

Happy Labor Day Weekend!

"Yellow House" -Day 1

"Yellow House"  acrylic on paper    5"x7"
Did I mention that I would be participating in Leslie Saeta's 30 paintings in 30 days of September?

If not, I am and here is painting one.

Poor yellow house needs a swing in the tree and possible a picnic table too.

Also, I purchased some water soluble oil paint today, I'm going to give that medium a try for thirty days. Tomorrow will be Duo Aqua Oil on a surface of my choosing!

Stay tuned,
JanettMarie

Thanks Jessica!

715 Hope Street

A little yellow house on Hope Street
If this little yellow house had some flowers and a mailbox it would be perfect.
Hmm.... do another.

Have a nice weekend!

"Cousin's" - Hope I haven't forgotten how to post!

"Cousin's"   20 inches by 20 inches  acrylic on canvas
Hello friends! This painting has been sitting around awhile just waiting for the finishing touches. Last night or was it the night before.... it finally happened, so I will call this "Cousin's" and finished! "Cousin's" because they all originate from the same family of stems. They are all a little different and special in my heart.

This painting was a bit of experimenting, learning and just plain fun.
Have fun this weekend!
