Tonight I was working around the studio and I glanced at this painting and decided the background needed to be lighten up.

This is a painting from the coffee cup series I did in 2012!

Wow, even my phone camera today takes better photo's than back in 2012! Wow.

I wonder what other paintings I can change!

Avocado I

"Avocado I"  mixed media on canvas  8" x 10"

Yesterday was April Fool's Day, I thought this painting was fooling with me because it seemed like the colors were off or dull or something crazy. I just kept at it then I called for help and help helped!
I put the painting in different light (better light) and then... I took off my glasses! My glasses! My new glasses have a really strong grey tint and that was affecting the way I saw the color in the painting!
Wow, little things.... or little details. Remember smiling will make you feel good!
