"Apple Ambrosia"

The label on the side of this apple says "Ambrosia".

Painting without much thought and maybe a little sloppy lately. I think I need to slow down and do some squinting and just looking a little more. Seems like sometimes I'm getting in too much of a hurry to finish the painting, instead of enjoying the process. Like that old song "Slow down, you move too fast, you got to make the morning last, just kicking down the cobble stones, looking for fun and feelin' groovy. ..."
I'm not really feeling groovy about what's happening.....

Okay, slow it down jM!

This is apple number 18!

I found a painter that is doing an apple a day, pretty cool. His name is Gerald De Dios, check him out!!

I love the way you continue to find different colors and textures to express the beauty of the apple!

Thanks Janette, I love your apple paintings! Even if this was a fast painting, it has a lot of energy in your strokes.
