Full Disclosure

This is my first feeble attempt at a ballerina.
I went to the book store for a book written by Twyla Tharp and I picked up this little jewel for $8. It came with a wooden mannequin!
To memorize the figure first practice the simple, really simple head.
The thorax, ummm, yes, I guess that's the breathing area.

Then practice the pelvic area, yes, pelvis, not Elvis! Although, Elvis...
Add arms and legs, I almost forgot to draw arms, so I drew a pear.
Whole body? Hmm... yep, keep practicing jM!

Well, all of that was yesterday. This morning while showering, I found myself practicing drawings, of these little guys on the shower door. Oh, they're all dried up now! I did secretly attempt another ballerina, shh... maybe she'll come out of the end of my pen yet!

the ones with the eye on it looks like it could be titled 'hips and drawers'!(bloomers?) this is so exciting and again I love these notations and drawings - please keep 'em coming!

Hi Myra,
About the images (pelvis) with the eye on the page, the author says to imagine a pair of swimming trunks, "hanging on a line, filled out by the breeze."
How about that for a visual? Yes, I'd say filled out bloomers!
Another detail, I forgot to mention... so much info... the proportions for this figure is the ideal figure totaling eight heads tall. As opposed to the 7 1/2 that is the norm. Eight is for the heroic figure. Ballet dancers are heroic aren't they?
