"Too Hot To Handle"

This is a 7.5" x 5.5" aquamedia on paper. I'll mount it onto an 8" x 6" canvas later this week.

These three, I think, are still out on the town since New Year's Eve! They are havin' a good time!

Hmm... which way does this read? Back pack? Baby? Soldier? Oh, the possibilities! I think I need to balance this out on the left side a bit. Maybe a marching band in the background.....

Sitting pretty, I bet a lot of children are thinking this tonight after they check out all of the candy they received "Trick or Treating" tonight!

Happy Halloween..... wait, how about Happy All Saints Day.... isn't that what Nov 1st is? The day after the "Day of the Dead".... I don't know, I could just be making things up here...

We all need someone to pray for us every once in a while, or more!  

The "prayer" in this painting is praying for the whole world. With all of the unrest in many parts, sincere prayer is needed.

Well...  it's a pear, surprise! At least it looks less like a quail.

This piece looks to me like someone, headed home after some dreary days on the road.
I got to a point and said "Stop" so I stopped.

This will be in the gallery show this Friday along with six other pieces. They are all 8"x6" aquamedia on paper mounted on a gallery wrap canvas. I'll have to get some photos from the opening to show you all later!

"Sharing Secrets"

Sharing secrets can be a good move. Aunt Rose is sharing her biscotti recipe with Randy and I.  My golf buddies and I share golf secrets. My artist buddies and I share secrets all of the time! That's how we do it!

This gnat is sharing my wine with me! Wait! I don't want to share my wine with that gnat. Some things are not meant to be shared!

"Go Red" -Sold

Did this painting Sept 11th. Well, finished it Sept 11th.

Today, I found the perfect title for this piece, "Go Red".   I received an email from The American Heart Association, Go Red for women, the message inspired this title.

Wear red proudly for our hearts ladies!! "Celebrate Wear Red Day any day!!"
