Two Nutcrackers and a revision...

"Drummin' Up"   4"x2" acrylic on canvas

What better way to catch up then by painting two itty bitty paintings of nutcrackers! Yes, this guy is drummin' up all kinds of things to do. The Nutcrackers are fun to paint but yet take time because of all the intricate buttons and buckles and details nutcrackers have.

Here is painting number six, a nutcracker carrying a flag so I call him "Flag Man".

"Flag Man"   4"x2" acrylic on canvas

One more painting I have to share is a new version of yesterday's painting. I just couldn't leave it alone. I think I can now.

"January Four" v2   8"x6" mixed media on canvas panel

Well, I'm gonna take a break now and report again tomorrow.

Stay warm....

"Cadet Cracker"

8"x6" Oil on canvas panel

He found his place! Right there in the cold Russian Forrest! With the snow and the evergreens, this little cadet fits in here!

Okay, I'm looking for Santa, he is suppose to model for me!

Have a great day!

"Nutty"

8"x6" Oil Painting started...

The season is here! Just around the corner is Thanksgiving in the USA and then Christmas!

A show at the StutzArtSpace is opening the first Friday in December and it is titled "Small Treasures".
I thought this little painting would be perfect for the show! I did add a few touches of highlights to spruce it up, so that indeed makes it a new updated painting!

On another seasonal note, how about snow! Below are three of my young artists from last Saturday's Cookies and Canvas painting class showing me their masterpieces!

Young Painters from Cookies & Canvas.

Silly me, I forgot to get their names!! Oh, they had a great time.  Oh, so did I!
Did I tell you they have the best Auntie in the world? She brought them to Cookies & Canvas!
