Well, it is late and it is time to celebrate the holiday's now isn't it?

The colors in this itty bitty just made me think of the Jimmy Buffet fans... Parrot Heads... it is all about the colors isn't it?

Happy, happy, holiday's!

Merry Christmas Eve Eve!

"A Small Splash"

Good Morning! An itty bitty splash of coffee to get us all started!

Yesterday, I was so busy painting with the kids and painting with the adult-kid painters that by the time I made it home, I was too tired to post any coffee cups! It was a great day all in all, even the Colts had a good day with a last home game of the season win. Oh, and of course the IU basketball team won too! Indiana may be a little chilly and rainy, but that doesn't keep us from having fun!

More later!

"Fill 'Er Up!"

This is a full cup. We need a full cup this time of year, with all of the parties and late night shopping. And early morning shopping and gathering with friends and family... yes, we'll need a big full cup of coffee!

It may be small, but it's mighty!

Today, I worked on my paintings that are 1000 times larger than this one. I'm working on translating a smaller painting into a larger painting. I hope I can pull it off!

Talk with you tomorrow!

How long does it take?

3"x2" acrylic on canvas
Oh these two olive paintings are starting to all look the same to me.... not like the apples... hmm, that should tell me something.... but what? What?!

Okay, how long does it take to show/finish the last painting of the 100 apple paintings series... well here is a video of phase two... and, I promise to post the last, well, number 100 anyway, of the apple paintings tomorrow, Thursday afternoon! Number 100, you know the "Big Apple"!

Ah... the video....

"Green Cup" -Sold

3"x2" itty bitty acrylic on canvas
An itty bitty "Green Cup" with real coffee on the surface of the canvas in the cup!

Saturday was painting a "Bug" for Cookies and Canvas. I always have a great time with the kids and I have to believe that the parents and grandparents have a great time too!
Here is happy painter Faith with her painting and mom Merilee!

She's drying that bug so it's okay to take home without getting paint on the car!

"Where To Next?" Shopping

An itty bitty shopping trip! This is Myra, Bonnie and I on a shopping trip. We are purchasing art materials and props of course!
We are thinking about traveling to France to visit Martine, have her show us all of the great pastry shops and introduce us to Leo, the toucan!

What fun to travel the world via computers and imaginations!

The colors in this itty bitty are a lot brighter than portrayed here. The hot pink did not come through photographically.... hmmm. Another one of those, "you need to see it in person!"

"My Pear" -Sold & "Little Green Apple" -Sold

An itty bitty pear. I'm working on a few requests for the holiday season and this is one of them... an itty bitty pear. This pear just happens to be "My Pear", not any other persons, only a JanettMarie, now it's getting crazy up in here.....

In addition to this itty bitty today, I reworked, just a tiny bit, "Little Green Apple"....
This is the little bit of reworking I did today.
This is the painting from October.
Apparently this photo is a little light too.
Don't worry Myra, I'm still reading my Degas book!

"Sunset Martini" -Sold

Couldn't help myself... it's an itty bitty martini.

I found some acrylic paint in a box that a friend had given me, so this is the painting. The only colors were a yellow, orange, green and purple. I found some white gesso to use as white for highlights and tinting.

Crazy itty bitty painting..............
