It's Monday. This is the first of ten, yes, ten of Myra's coffee cups. This one I did looking at a small printed out copy of Last Cup of Coffee's icon place holder doodad. As I sit here at my computer, I noticed that I printed a bigger copy and I can read the little cup napkin better. Looks like the next one will definitely have a slightly different look, of course.
After I had this little painting about half finished, I distracted myself by taking out 9 more 6"x6" panels and drawing the same view of this coffee cup on the other nine. At about number 5, I thought, maybe I'll just do six total, repetition, repetition for automation. After the sixth was drawn, I decided that I started with a goal of ten, so continue to ten, so ten I did.
I also changed the Christmas Coffee painting a little bit... here is the revised version...

p.s. with the words gone i see that beautiful highlight on the inside of the cup, and the pink and green reflections!
Love this Christmas cup. It feels so cozy. Maybe some of your mugs should have hot chocolate in them now that the colder weather is here. I can see a marshmallow....
wow! that floral cup is BEAUTIFUL! I am so laughing about you painting the logo cup! I haven't seen it since I moved. I will have to look for it. Tiny bought it for me - it says #1 MOM! Your panels of cup paintings of the future looks very exiciting . . . I can't wait to see each beautiful cup of coffee unfold!! I've been painting my 'cup ladies' but I have been thinking of also painting some 'wine' ladies!
uh . . . I stand corrected - I just found the cup and it says 'good old mom'! what? who's Tiny calling old?
Mmm.. marshmallows, good idea Bonnie!
Wine Ladies, that seems like a great idea Myra. Go for it!
Thanks Leigh!
I like the more intense background and did I say I love that Christmas coffee cup.....
