"Tug That Barge!"

6"x8" oil on paper on canvas

Indiana does have tugboats! They are used on the rivers to push big barges around.

This little painting was influenced by a little model tugboat that my friend Dan let me borrow.  I made up the water and the green stuff that is supposed to be river bank... let me show you a photo of the model...

Hmm... I think I better paint another!!

Coffee tomorrow!

Hi Janettmarie, Did I tell you my family has been int he tugboat business since 1901? It started with my Great Grandfather and his brother, passed down to my Poppa and his brother, passed down to my dad and his brother, passed down to my brothers and their cousins and now their kids!
Great painting and model. Until the next cup of coffee...
